Introduced in 1298 BBY, the BG-series construction droids were the first creation of Imperial Robotics. Even after thirteen centuries, it remained a valuable addition to construction teams across the Confederacy. By 18 ABY, the BG-series was on its seventeenth incarnation (BG-17).
