John Quayle (born 21st December, 1938) is a British actor from Lincoln. He played Anthony Stephens in Coronation Street from 2000 to 2001. He previously appeared in the role of Captain Platt for a single episode in 1964. His other credits include Steptoe and Son, Rising Damp, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, The Benny Hill Show, Shelley and Terry and June.
