The Rannt family is a pre-made family, living in the neighborhood of Moonlight Bay. The family consists of mother Alice Rannt, a misguided, intelligent doctor, and her misbehaved son Byron Rannt. The pair live together in a middle-class home across the street from the Single Dads household.
