Michael James Nickeas (born February 13, 1983 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a minor league catcher in the New York Mets organization. He is currently playing for the Buffalo Bisons. Born in Vancouver, while his dad played for the Vancouver Whitecaps of the NASL. His dad, Mark, is from England, and his mom is American. He grew up in California. He graduated from Westlake High School in Westlake Village, California. He played three years for the Georgia Tech baseball team.
