Carla Lisbeth Rueckert McCarty is an American [writer]], metaphysician, and channeller, and one-time independent fillmaker. She was born July 16, 1943 in Lake Forest, Illinois, and currently resides near Louisville with her husband, Jim McCarty. Later channeling sessions brought forth contact with Ra, an entityy condused with Ra the deity of the Egyptians, but, but not the same. Five books of channeled material have been published, under the title The Law of One, in five volumes. These five books, and Rueckert's The Wanderer's Hnadbook make up the major components of L/L Research.
