The Shintaro sword was the most famous Samurai sword outside of Japan. It was located in the Hazunaga Asian Museum in London, England. Kazu Tamazaki wanted to return it to its homeland where it belonged as a matter of pride. He tried unsuccessfully to steal it, which resulted in the death of many men and his arrest for breaking and entering.
