The Halifax Blue Sunocos were a senior team. They were sponsored by the Sun Oil Company which got heavily involved in Maritimes Hockey in the 1930'a. The Blue Sunocos won the Halifax City League in 1935-36 and 1936-37. They also played in the Maritimes Senior Playoffs in 10935-36 and 1936-37.
