It buzzed, it bustled, and it bristled with energy. Everyone who lived there had a particular trade, with its overbearing Guild, or division of the Vishnu Clan, and clearly defined district. This led to intrigue, plotting, bitter competition, and perpetual disputes, clan with clan, district with district, and tradesman with rival tradesman. The only matter which united all of the citizens of Cillidellan was their shared fear and hatred of the pirates who dominated all of the unprotected trade routes and planets in their independent battlecruisers and preyed off any helpless merchant whose paths they crossed. Yet there was one matter which bound them all together, their freedom of trade.
