Lady Catherine was a Tortallan noblewoman living in the first half of the fifth century of the Human Era. She was acquainted with the House of Trebond, being the godsmother of Alanna and Thom of Trebond. She'd had at least one husband, presumably deceased, because at some point she tried to get Alan of Trebond to marry her after the death of his wife. Unfortunately for her Lady Catherine didn't succeed in her plan as the twins made her see ghosts, thus driving her from Trebond. Coram Smythesson judged her to be a cruel mistress to her servants.
