The Nosaurian Legion was a volunteer unit that fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Their homeworld had joined the CIS and a resistance movement fought against the Galactic Republic there, however, the CIS, needing manpower, helped Nosaurians escape the planet in exchange for their service in the Separatist Droid Army. An overwhelming amount, 78,000, had enlisted. The new Legion became one of the several in the Confederate military. It fought with ferocity, and was known as one of the largest Legions. When the war ended in 19 BBY, the Nosaurian Legion was disbanded and most of its members fled to different planets, trying to hide from the Galactic Empire.
