Michele Bachmann is a Republican politician and the current U.S. Representative for the Sixth District of Minnesota. On May 29, 2013, Bachmann announced that she would not seek re-election in 2014, a decision that deprived comedians of an important soruce of fresh material. Perhaps more than any of other member of the Republican Congressional Faction of Fear, Bachmann has been willing to express opinions that shame her party.
