Brigadier General Emmett Bragg was an American fighter pilot and veteran of the Vietnam War. He commanded the American space shuttle Athena on its mission to Minerva. He was close to 50, a decade older than any of the crew. Bragg made contact with Reatur and developed good relations with the Omalo domain-master, providing military assistance when Reatur's domain was invaded by a Skarmer army from Hogram's domain. Bragg was from Alabama.
