Hannibal Dupuy was a clerk in the New Orleans Hall of Records. He was a large, round black man with extremely thick glasses, and an impeccable knowledge of where everything in the building was stored. Dupuy directed Neil Michaels to the mortuary establishment files to look for information about Colquit Reynolds.
