EMMAX is an artist collective based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This Canadian artist collective formed in Fall 2003 at EMMEDIA, by founding members: Ken Buera, Daniel Dugas, Jim Goertz, David Kim, Valerie LeBlanc and Don Simmons. EMMAX has performed and experimented in various incarnations. The collective has always maintained an open door policy on membership and individuals involved have a common interest of sharing ideas and exploring with Max/MSP and Jitter software. Their artwork has taken the form of live audio performances, live audio streaming through the internet and CD projects.
