Hoxton was a borough constituency centred on the Hoxton district of London, in existence 1885-1918. Formally known as the Hoxton Division of the Parliamentary Borough of Shoreditch, it was one of two constituencies into which the parish of Shoreditch was divided by the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885, the other being Haggerston. The constituency comprised four wards used for the election of vestrymen under the Metropolis Management Act: Moorfields, Hoxton, Church and Wenlock. The Wikipedia page is [1]
