When the school left receivership and fell into foreclosure, the property was acquired by the Whateley Trust, a loose coalition of Heroes, Villains and Mutant Sympathizers including the Syndicate, the Black Mask, Champion, Lady Champion, the Empire City Guard, Doctor Alexander and Rev.
