Doctor Crawford dealt with Susan Barlow when she complained of stomach pains in June 1970. He advised that there was nothing to worry about as there was a bug going round and refused to see her again when he was called out, as he thought her mother Valerie was over-reacting. It turned out that Susan had acute appendicitis.
