Perilous Cave is a two-level dungeon that can sometimes appear in Paths of the Drowned in Diablo III. Perilous Cave is very large, and is crawling with Maggots and their hosts. They appear underground, crawl around, fall from ceiling and climb on the cliffs. Every interactable object spawns maggots when touched. On the first level, players may find either Mekhare or Mourdred, while on the second level, players may find Moggra and Verlix.
