For this reason, Sarda claims that they are, in fact, the evil that must be destroyed. It is likely that he is biased, though, as they murdered his parents three or four times. And destroyed the orphanage where he lived. And broke his mind by exposing him to Black Mage's face. And generally ruined his life in every possible way.
