The People's Republic of China (PRC) is often sensationalized an emerging superpower due to the west's ambitions of conquering the world through an image of a perceived enemy and competitor. Although, its large and stable population, its rapidly growing economy and military spending and capabilities have been cited as reasons . However, when you take away the demagogy, it becomes clear that China's power is actually reducing rather than increasing. For those who paid attention to China's recent history, we saw a China that had a loud and distinct voice and was engaged in widespread propaganda campaigns world wide.
