The Prison Officer inducted Izzy Armstrong as she began a two-month sentence for purchasing drugs and assaulting a police office in July 2016. Izzy hadn't expected to receive a custodial sentence and was on the verge of tears as she was shown into her cell. She asked the officer if she could make a phone call to speak to her little boy but upon being told that he was being cared for, the request was refused as was Izzy's need to have her picture of Jake and Gary Windass to be with her for the night. The officer locked the cell door, leaving its occupant in tears.
