Major John Chalmers of the U.S. Secret Service was known as the “Blitz Buster.” He earned this moniker for his skill in stopping the German blitzkrieg. Chalmers did this by going undercover, in disguise, as a spy both in the United States, occupied France, Germany, and elsewhere. His skills as the Blitz Buster helped to stop a German invasion of Gibraltar.
