It was one of William T. Riker's and Deanna Troi's (and therefore Thomas Riker's) favorite views on Betazed. While trapped on Nervala IV,Thomas Riker made a phaser beam carving of it in metal for Troi. It was the third of three tries, as he originally found it difficult to create a fine enough beam.
