Rangos Lanar was a Human male who was the Duke of House Lanar, one of the Great Houses of Alderaan, during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. House Lanar was originally a vassal of House Thul, but broke ties with the Thuls and became pirates, preying on the Thuls' holdings. Duke Lanar was slain during an Imperial assault on the Lanar resupply camps in the western Kaamos Territory.
