The 56th Infantry Division Casale was a regular Infantry Division of the Italian Army during World War II. The Casale Division was sent to Albania in March 1941. Following the Battle of Greece it was used as an occupation force in Greece, until it was disbanded after the Italian surrender to the Allies in September 1943. Its men hailed from Romagna.
