W. Campbell Supply Co. was founded in 1967 by the late Whitman S. (Woody) Campbell, (1914-1993). The company originally sold and serviced fire apparatus and equipment. The business was started in Woody’s home and quickly became a Seagrave Fire Apparatus dealership covering the State of New Jersey and Eastern portions of Pennsylvania. The Company’s very first employee Spencer Fritz was hired and the Campbell Service Department was established. The business became extremely successful quickly. Hundreds of Seagrave Pumpers and Aerial Ladders were sold in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It was then the City of New York, Long Island and Eastern Pennsylvania were added to the dealership’s sales and service areas, it was also at this time that our first outside sales person was hired, Ted Jensen alo
