Promethium was a medium weight-metal that was completely unaffected by the Force. Not present in nature, it was created by Republic scientists for use against Darth Nafferus. However, Necross rose to power before it was finished; seeing him as a bigger threat, he became the target of their new anti–Sith weapon.
