The Honeymoon Game was a broadcasted pilot spinoff of The Joker's Wild, this other format used nearly the same format and featured married couples instead of single players. This show was intended to be 90 minutes long, but it was shortened to just an hour. The first round had been removed due to its weak format, and was replaced on the aired version with a pitchfilm by creator Jack Barry.
