Kanjar Ro used the Gamma Gong to defeat both Blue Beetles. When Kanjar Ro used the scarab to make himself a Blue Beetle his plan backfired when the second Blue Beetle used it against him. The Gamma Gong emitted a high pitch frequency that affected the Scarab.
