Pentabo is a settlement on Verillia. Joanna McCoy lived and worked in Pentabo in the year 2268. (TOS - Crucible novel: Provenance of Shadows) Pentabo was badly damaged during the Verillian civil war. Elias Vaughn visited one of the damaged areas, where he saw several orphaned and starving Verillian children living among the ruins of Pentabo. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Twilight)
