Four years later, the Troy and her sister ship, USS Hammurabi, were escorting a convoy of merchant ships bound for a frontier area when they were attacked by a group of Klingon warships. The Troy was damaged in the initial attack and was left derelict, but was able to destroy an attacking vessel when it got to close to the Troy.
