38/6 Ranger Battalion was a special warfare battalion of the 38th Ranger Expeditionary Force, attached to UNSC Special Operations Command Centauri (UNSCSOCCEN), |UNSC Special Operations Command (UNSCSOCOM). It was designated as "Battalion XI" within the 38th Ranger. One of its subordinate units was the venerated Ranger 38/6 C, colloquially known as the decorated "Cambridge Raiders".
