GNS Courageous was a Manticore's Gift-class superdreadnought of the Grayson Space Navy. It was originally a Havenite DuQuesne-class vessel, but was captured by the Royal Manticoran Navy in the Third Battle of Yeltsin's Star in 1905 PD. After an extensive refit in 1907 PD, the Courageous became part of Rear Admiral Walter Brentworth's First Division of Battle Squadron One. It participated in the Fourth Battle of Yeltsin's Star, and was one of the few ships surviving it combat effective. (HH5)
