Corrin VI was the son of Corrin V. He was also the brother of Corrin VII. He succeeded, of deposed his father, in 1897 AG and ruled for about ten years until replaced by him. He would overthrow his father's rival, Sidir VI in 1935, soon after he deposed his brother, but Corrin VI would soon once more be replaced by his father.
