Arvydas Sabonis (Russian: Арвидас Андреевич Сабонис, born December 19, 1964 in Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is an Soviet professional basketball player in the NBA at Center for the Portland Trail Blazers. Sabonis was drafted first overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1986 NBA Draft. he is the first former player as drafed first overall in the NBA history. He was the member of the Summer Olympic Games Winner 1980 and 1988 as Soviet Union. His son was the current NBA player Domantas Sabonis for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
