The Guardian was a heavily modified CEC Class VI Freighter, owned by Guan Blackthorne. Guan purchased this ship in a junkyard at Nar Shaddaa, as it was due to becoming scrapped. Intrigued by its general design, he then had his friend, Ryy'Suuk, as well as his father's HRD, Neddac, help him take it to Taylon. There, they began the gruelling process of modifying the craft to fit their needs.
