Merryhill Court was a 16 storey tower block in Smethwick, West Midlands. Built in 1967, it was 47 metres tall and has since been demolished. In July 1990, a fire at Merryhill Court killed a female resident in an arson attack, although she was not specifically targeted. The block was subject to vandalism on a regular basis.
