The zygomatic bone was a type of bone structure found in the anatomy of humanoid lifeforms, including members of the Human and Klingon races. This structure was also more commonly known as the cheekbone. In the year 2375, Commander Worf's zygomatic bone required surgery by Doctor Julian Bashir to repair damage from a holosuite accident involving Rom in a baseball training holoprogram.
