The Linus van Pelt costume is a popular children's costume for Halloween. It features the character Linus van Pelt from the Peanuts comic strip and TV specials. The costume can be extremely easy to make or come across: All it requires is a red t-shirt with horizontal black stripes, black shorts, brown lace-up shoes, and a blue blanket. Glasses are optional. Masks can be bought in stores or online if the wearer wishes to have one. A costume wearer may also choose to carry a pumpkin or talk about the Great Pumpkin to help accentuate the idea of the character.
