The California Collegiate Athletic Association (known as the CCAA) is a conference participating in the NCAA's Division II. All of its current members are public universities, and all except for UC San Diego are members of the California State University system. It was founded in 1938 and began competition in 1939. The commissioner of the CCAA is Mike Matthews. CCAA offices are located in Walnut Creek, California, which is also the city where the Pac-12 Conference headquarters are located. The CCAA is the most successful conference in NCAA Division II, as its former and current members have won 153 National Championships.
