Tian Selkor was a male Skakoan engineer and an officer of the navy of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, who eventually joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Considered to be a brilliant engineer and technician by his colleagues, Selkor initially worked for the Techno Union, designing everything from starship engines to weaponry. But due to manpower shortages in the Confederate fleet, he was reassigned to work as a naval engineer, given the rank of lieutenant. During the Battle of Geonosis, the Skakoan engineer worked aboard the Accuser, a Lucrehulk-class battleship. Aboard the vessel Selkor met and befriended several fellow organic crew members, with whom he would go on to serve throughout the rest of the conflict against the Galactic Republic.
