Recon Team India was a unit of the UNSC Marine Corps contingent aboard the UNSC Spirit of Fire in 2531. It was comprised of one M313 "Elephant" Heavy Recovery Vehicle and two-four man Marine fire teams. Its sister unit was Recon Team Echo. The team was woken up by Serina for the liberation of Harvest. They later fought during the Battle of Shield 0459 on February 23rd, 2531. Unfortunately, Team India was overrun during the battle and absorbed by the Flood. When Sergeant Forge came searching for theirs and Echo's location, he declared both Recon Teams compromised.
