The series was first introduced on November 16th, 2010 with the release of the SCPD inspired Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro 'Cop Edition'. The cop style series of vehicles weren't equipped with police lights until October 21st, 2011 with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage 'Cop Edition' being the first to feature the functionality. All subsequently released vehicles were released with functioning police lights but the Audi R8 4.2 FSI quattro 'Cop Edition', Lamborghini MurciƩlago LP 640 'Cop' and Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997.2) 'Seacreast County Police' were not retroactively equipped with police lights.
