For the duration of the activity, players could win these tools through Treasure Hunter. Like basic tools, golden tools are stackable and can be equipped to the Pocket slot (though equipping them is not required for use) and are consumed passively while interacting with the Lost Sword event in Falador Park. As with basic tools, 5 actions in the event will consume one golden tool. Compared to basic tools, golden tools grant ten times the experience when the skill level is below 50, and twenty-five times the experience when above level 50, as well as twenty-five times the reward progress, so a single golden tools will advance the player's reward progress by 5% when used. However, golden tools do not grant any Commendations like basic tools do.
