Kyō akuryōai (京悪霊アイ lit. Kyō Demons Eye) was formally a swordsman hailing from an unknown village. He was the rival of Sanada Yukimura and one of the few beings to see the Codex albeit a forced viewing. After his return and the loss of his body he has been known as The Great Demon spirit (大悪霊を心 Dai akuma no tamashī).
