The Controlled attack style is a combat style used in melee fighting. Using controlled, you are given an invisible bonus level of +1 to Attack, Defense, and Strength, unlike the other styles which give a +3 boost to only 1 skill. When using the controlled style, equal experience of 1 experience point per damage inflicted is split between Attack, Strength, and Defense, along with 1.3 experience given to hits.
