The division of the Toran Republic's military designated for naval warfare and the successor to the Scarlet Moon Imperial Navy. The Republican Navy, based at the Floating Fortress of Shasarazade, is used to maintain control over the Lake Toran area, commonly associated with pirates and other bandits. Although the abilities of Navy Admiral, Sonya Shulen, are never cast into doubt, the Republican Navy, like its predecessor, is not on record as having played a major part in any military action in the short history of the new republic.
