Roy Alan McIntyre (d. 1999) was a con-man who ran a Ponzi scheme in the late 1990s. He was shot and killed in 1999 in the garage of his condominium, though no one was arrested for the murder at that time. In 2012, LAPD detective Harry Bosch re-opened the case, and found the case shared a common witness – Diane Gables – with the 2007 murder of Raymond Randolph.
