"Benjamin Franklin was one of the founding fathers of the United States of America but also a leading member of the Lucian branch. Like many Lucians, he had a quick and curious mind and not a lot of patience for silly people. So when his meetings about the Revolutionary War dragged on too long, Franklin entertained himself by creating math puzzles called magic boxes. Years later, Grace Cahill used Franklin's math puzzles as quizzes for people she suspected were Cahills. If a person could solve a magic box, chances are he was a Lucian (or sometimes an Ekat)."
