Luke Skywalker was a male Human and son of Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala and brother to Leia Organa Skywalker. He grew up on the planet of Tatooine, where he and his Uncle Owen Lars and Aunt Beru Lars were moisture farmers on a homestead not far from Mos Eisley. During his years on Tatooine, Luke was also watched over by Obi-Wan “Ben” Kenobi.
